Boxing Daily Report from the Netherlands National Finals 2030,  taking place on 11/04/2030 from Eindhoven, Netherlands:

The Eindhoven venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Balthazar Fransois (11 - 20) who hails from Eindhoven, Netherlands and Ernest Pese(17(1) - 9) from The Hague, Netherlands.

Fransois attempts to land a jab, but Pese blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Pese quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Fransois lands a cross.  
Pese stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Fransois lands a cross.  
Fransois lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Fransois hits home with a cross.  
Fransois lands a jab.  
Fransois lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Pese feints a cross, but Fransois does not fall for it and responds with a left uppercut to Pese's body.

Fransois is looking to close the distance.  Fransois pivots to the right of his opponent.  Pese tries to land a left hook, but Fransois sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Pese steps inside and hits home with a left hook.

Pese closes the distance.  Pese connects with a stinging right hook.  Pese goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Fransois time to recover.
