Boxing Daily Report from the New Zealand National Finals 2030,  taking place on 14/04/2030 from Auckland, New Zealand:

The Auckland venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bryn Bird (7 - 5) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Ian Linsey(8 - 14) from Wellington, New Zealand.  

Round 1: 

Linsey hits home with a right uppercut.  
Bird lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Linsey lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Bird manouvers Linsey into the corner.  Linsey tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Linsey is on target with a stinging cross.  
Linsey lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Linsey quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Bird lands a cross, jab and a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Bird is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by two right uppercut's to the body.  
Bird lands a jab.  
Linsey tries to keep the action at long range.  Bird lands a jab, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Linsey is on target with a solid left hook.

Linsey pivots to the side of his opponent and finds the target with a solid jab.
