Amer Rayes vs Obaid Hussain

Boxing Daily Report from the Yemen National Finals 2030,  taking place on 26/04/2030 from Sana'a, Yemen:

The Sana'a venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Amer Rayes (7 - 12) who hails from Al Hudaydah, Yemen and Obaid Hussain(4 - 8) from Sana'a, Yemen.  

Round 1: 

Hussain throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Hussain's body.  
Hussain gets on the inside.  Hussain sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Rayes attempts to land a right hook, but Hussain parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Rayes tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a cross.

Hussain steps inside and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.

Hussain pivots to the right of his opponent.  Hussain tries to land a left uppercut, but Rayes slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.

Hussain is looking to close the distance and manages to force Rayes into a neutral corner.  Rayes throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Rayes drives a right hook into Hussain's ribs.  
Rayes attempts to land a jab, but Hussain dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
