Boxing Daily Report from the Zimbabwe National Finals 2030,  taking place on 26/04/2030 from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe:

The Bulawayo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bob Charamba (2 - 1) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Mark Mpofu(12 - 16(2)) from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe.

Mpofu lands a spiteful jab.  Mpofu tries to land a left hook, but Charamba sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook.

Mpofu is looking to close the distance.  Mpofu pivots to the left of his opponent, but Charamba lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Charamba goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Mpofu's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Mpofu is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mpofu is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut.  
Charamba steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Mpofu is looking to close the distance and forces Charamba to back into a corner.  Charamba throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Charamba connects with a left hook.  
Mpofu steps inside and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Charamba pivots from in front of his opponent, but Mpofu connects with a cross.  
Mpofu closes the distance.  Charamba hits home with a sharp left hook.
