Leon Szurgot vs Jakub Bielawa

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 29/04/2030 from Vilnius, Lithuania:

The Vilnius venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Leon Szurgot (5 - 2) who hails from Vilnius, Lithuania and Jakub Bielawa(9 - 7) from Vilnius, Lithuania.  

Round 1: 

Bielawa forces Szurgot to retreat into a corner.  Szurgot attempts to land a jab, but Bielawa blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Bielawa is looking to close the distance.  Bielawa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Bielawa steps to the outside and drives a solid jab into his opponents face.  
Bielawa is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook.  
Bielawa advances into close range and forces Szurgot to back into a corner.  Bielawa lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Bielawa is looking to close the distance.  Bielawa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Bielawa steps inside and manages to force Szurgot onto the ropes.  Bielawa pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.  
Bielawa gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Bielawa pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.  
Bielawa pivots from in front of his opponent.  Bielawa throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Bielawa pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Szurgot is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Bielawa pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bielawa's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.

Bielawa tries to land a jab, but Szurgot sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Bielawa pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a cross.
