Jouko Esko vs Mika Rasanen

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 02/08/2030 from Turku, Finland:

The Turku venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jouko Esko (8 - 12) who hails from Vantaa, Finland and Mika Rasanen(7 - 16) from Turku, Finland.  

Round 1: 

Rasanen advances into close range.  Esko is on target with a right hook.  
Rasanen manages to force Esko onto the ropes.  Rasanen pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Rasanen connects with a cross.  Rasanen throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Rasanen feints a right, and then lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Esko attempts to land a cross, but Rasanen sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Rasanen gets on the inside.  Rasanen pivots to the right of his opponent.  Esko throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Rasanen sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Rasanen tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Rasanen connects with a sharp left hook.  
Esko finds the target with a jab.  
Rasanen lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Esko switches the action to the outside.  Rasanen lands with a sharp jab.  
Rasanen advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Rasanen hits home with a firm left hook.  
Rasanen drives a left hook into Esko's body.  
Esko connects with a right hook.  
Rasanen closes the distance and is on target with a firm left hook to Esko's ribs.

Esko is looking to keep his distance.  Esko sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Rasanen lands with a sharp jab.
