Nyyrikki Lahtinen vs Aku Kaku

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 06/11/2030 from Vantaa, Finland:

The Vantaa venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Nyyrikki Lahtinen (6 - 6) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Aku Kaku(5 - 9) from Vantaa, Finland.  

Round 1: 

Kaku is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
Kaku forces Lahtinen to back into the corner.  Kaku lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Lahtinen pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Lahtinen is looking to keep his distance.  Kaku lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kaku closes the distance.  Kaku sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a firm left hook.  
Lahtinen switches the action to the outside.  Kaku connects with an overhand left.

Kaku tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Kaku advances into close range and hits home with a firm right hook.  Kaku attempts to land a right uppercut, but Lahtinen slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Kaku closes the distance and manouvers Lahtinen into the corner.  Kaku lands a right uppercut.  
Kaku steps inside and is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Lahtinen steps to the outside.  Lahtinen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Kaku lands a firm right uppercut.  Kaku attempts to land a jab, but Lahtinen sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kaku closes the distance.  Kaku quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Lahtinen hits home with a left uppercut.  
Lahtinen lands a sharp cross.

Kaku gets on the inside.  Lahtinen is on target with a left hook.  
Lahtinen drives a firm left hook into Kaku's body.  
Kaku is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kaku tries to land a cross, but Lahtinen blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Kaku steps inside.  Lahtinen throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Kaku time to recover.  
Lahtinen connects with a cross.  
Kaku steps inside.  Lahtinen is on target with a stinging right hook to Kaku's ribcage.
