Dave Sanders vs Tobias Maddy

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/12/2030 from Wollongong, Australia:

The Wollongong venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Sanders (89(1) - 5) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Tobias Maddy(4 - 10) from Wollongong, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Maddy advances into close range and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Sanders steps away from his opponent and lands a jab to Maddy's body.  
Maddy manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Sanders lands a cross.  
Sanders is looking to keep his distance.  Maddy connects with a sharp cross.  
Sanders lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Maddy sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sanders attempts to land a jab, but Maddy sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Sanders contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Maddy hits home with a cross.

Sanders switches the action to the outside.  Sanders feints a cross, tricking Maddy into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Sanders avoids the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Maddy advances into close range and forces Sanders to back into the ropes.  Maddy attempts to land a left hook, but Sanders sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Sanders hits home with a left uppercut.  
Sanders connects with a right hook.  
Sanders steps to the outside.  Sanders sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Maddy is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Sanders in a neutral corner.  Maddy digs in a right hook to Sanders's body.

Sanders switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Maddy gets on the inside and forces Sanders to back into the ropes.  Sanders lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Sanders attempts to land a jab, but Maddy slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sanders steps to the outside.  Sanders feints a jab and triggers a right hook counter from Maddy.  Sanders springs the trap and counters with  a solid cross.  
Sanders lands an overhand left.  
Maddy steps inside.  Sanders connects with a left hook.  
Sanders lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Maddy attempts to land a left hook, but Sanders sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Sanders steps to the outside.  Sanders quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Sanders steps to the outside.  Sanders feints a right hook, and then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Sanders is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Maddy walks Sanders down, trapping him on the ropes.  Maddy lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Sanders ties up his opponent.  Sanders is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Sanders to stop fouling.  
Maddy throws a left uppercut, but Sanders holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Sanders's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sanders lands a double jab to his opponents head.
