Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/01/2031 from Surrey, Canada:

The Surrey venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ray Barthez (27 - 9) who hails from Quebec City, Canada and Ian Hallowell(5 - 5) from Surrey, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Barthez hits home with a stinging right hook.

Barthez drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.  Barthez clinches his opponent.  Barthez throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Barthez to stop fouling.  
Barthez is looking to close the distance.  Hallowell throws a left uppercut, but Barthez clinches his opponent.  Hallowell is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Barthez's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

As they grapple, Hallowell pushes his forearm into Barthez's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hallowell about fouling.
