Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/01/2031 from Helsinki, Finland:

The Helsinki venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Vihtori Itkonen (14(1) - 4) who hails from Vantaa, Finland and Jere Karjalainen(2 - 3) from Helsinki, Finland.  

Round 1: 

Karjalainen lands a right uppercut.  
Itkonen closes the distance and digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents ribs.

Karjalainen sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Itkonen hits the target with a hard jab.  
Itkonen walks Karjalainen down, trapping him on the ropes.  Itkonen lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  Itkonen holds on to his opponent.  Itkonen is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Itkonen pushes his forearm into Karjalainen's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Itkonen to stop fouling.  
Itkonen is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Itkonen lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Itkonen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Karjalainen is looking to close the distance and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.
