Dave Sanders vs Harry Carse

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 08/02/2031 from Sunshine Coast, Australia:

The Sunshine Coast venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Sanders (102(1) - 5) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Harry Carse(12 - 12) from Sunshine Coast, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Sanders is on target with a jab.  
Carse drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Sanders is on target with a jab to Carse's body.  
Carse lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Sanders is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Carse sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Carse steps inside and connects with a firm right uppercut.  Carse attempts to land a left hook, but Sanders blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Sanders steps away from his opponent and lands with a stiff jab.  
Sanders steps to the outside.  Carse throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Carse forces Sanders to back into the ropes.  Sanders goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Carse's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Sanders is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Sanders strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Sanders lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Sanders is on target with a right hook to Carse's ribcage.  
Sanders lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Sanders tries to keep the action at long range and snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.  
Sanders quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Carse is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but Sanders clinches his opponent.  Sanders leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Carse uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Sanders's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Carse about fouling.  
Carse forces Sanders to retreat onto the ropes.  Carse is on target with a left uppercut.  
Sanders steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Sanders lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sanders lands with a ramrod jab.  Sanders tries to land a jab, but Carse sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Carse is looking to close the distance.  Sanders drives a left hook into Carse's body.  
Carse manouvers Sanders onto the ropes.  Carse connects with a left hook.  
Sanders is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands with a ramrod jab.

Carse closes the distance.  Sanders lands a right hook.  
Sanders switches the action to the outside.  Sanders feints a left hook, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Sanders switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Carse advances into close range.  Sanders lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.
