Dick Planck vs Hansi Gilcher

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/02/2031 from Zurich, Switzerland:

The Zurich venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dick Planck (3 - 8) who hails from Zurich, Switzerland and Hansi Gilcher(1 - 8) from Zurich, Switzerland.  

Round 1: 

Planck tries to keep the action at long range.  Planck sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Planck tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Gilcher gets on the inside.  Gilcher quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Gilcher connects with a right hook.  
Gilcher pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Gilcher connects with a right hook.  
Gilcher closes the distance and drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Planck hits home with a cross.  
Gilcher advances into close range.  Gilcher quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gilcher's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Planck is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Planck lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Gilcher gets on the inside and drives a right uppercut into Planck's ribs.  
Gilcher is on target with a right uppercut.  
Planck switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Planck hits home with a solid cross.  
Planck lands a jab.  
Gilcher finds the target with a solid jab.  
Gilcher lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Planck's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
