Dick Planck vs Emory Kriegler

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/02/2031 from Bern, Switzerland:

The Bern venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dick Planck (3 - 9) who hails from Zurich, Switzerland and Emory Kriegler(2 - 9) from Bern, Switzerland.  

Round 1: 

Planck is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Planck sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Planck tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Planck is looking to keep his distance and lands a solid cross.  
Planck throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Kriegler is looking to close the distance and drives a firm left hook into his opponents liver.  
Kriegler is looking to close the distance.  Kriegler pivots from in front of his opponent.  Kriegler is on target with a stinging left hook.  Kriegler throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Planck tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Planck hits home with a cross.  
Planck tries to keep the action at long range and finds the target with a solid jab.  
Kriegler closes the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Planck throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Planck steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Kriegler advances into close range and forces Planck to back into the corner.  Kriegler attempts to land a right hook, but Planck parries the shot and counters with a solid left hook.

Kriegler lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Planck steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Planck attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Kriegler's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Planck hits home with a cross.  
Planck is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land a cross, but Kriegler blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut to Planck's body.  
Kriegler steps away from his opponent and lands with a stiff jab.  
Kriegler gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kriegler lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Kriegler steps inside.  Kriegler pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a solid left hook.

Planck tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land an overhand left, but Kriegler slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Kriegler pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to Planck's ribcage.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Kriegler's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.
