Luka Vecakais vs Anton Kasparsons

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 26/02/2031 from Riga, Latvia:

The Riga venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Luka Vecakais (43 - 3) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Anton Kasparsons(1 - 16) from Riga, Latvia.  

Round 1: 

Kasparsons gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to Vecakais's body.  
Kasparsons cuts off the ring, trapping Vecakais on the ropes.  Vecakais drives a right hook into his opponents body.

Kasparsons steps inside and tries to land a right hook, but Vecakais sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Kasparsons steps inside.  Vecakais hits home with a left hook.  
Kasparsons advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Vecakais tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right.  
Kasparsons is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Vecakais tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Vecakais quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Kasparsons connects with a stinging overhand right.

Kasparsons hits home with a left hook.  
Vecakais hits home with a left uppercut.  
Kasparsons attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Vecakais to the neutral corner.  He lectures Kasparsons but does not take away a point.  
Vecakais switches the action to the outside.  Vecakais feints a cross, and then connects with an overhand right.  
Kasparsons is looking to close the distance.  Kasparsons pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
