Boxing Daily Report from the Albania National Finals 2031,  taking place on 11/03/2031 from Tirana, Albania:

The Tirana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ardi Petrela (15(2) - 0) who hails from Durres, Albania and Edi Varoshi(11 - 6) from Tirana, Albania.

Varoshi steps inside and walks Petrela down, trapping him on the ropes.  Petrela throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Petrela clinches his opponent.  Varoshi is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Petrela steps to the outside.  Petrela feints a cross, and then lands a stiff jab.  
Petrela lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Petrela feints a left hook, and then is on target with a sharp cross.  
Petrela feints a cross, and then connects with a firm overhand right.  
Petrela drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Petrela steps to the outside.  Petrela waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Varoshi attempts to land a cross, but Petrela slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.

Varoshi advances into close range.  Varoshi pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.
