Bronco Moncayo vs Xavier Mandujano

Boxing Daily Report from the Colombia National Finals 2031,  taking place on 14/03/2031 from Bello, Colombia:

The Bello venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bronco Moncayo (4 - 8) who hails from Bogota, Colombia and Xavier Mandujano(29 - 18) from Medellin, Colombia.  

Round 1: 

Moncayo is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Moncayo forces Mandujano to retreat onto the ropes.  Moncayo throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.

Mandujano lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Moncayo throws a right hook, but Mandujano ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Mandujano pushes his forearm into Moncayo's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mandujano about fouling.  
Moncayo walks Mandujano down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mandujano connects with a left hook.  
Moncayo steps inside and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mandujano steps away from his opponent and connects with a stinging overhand left.

Mandujano tries to step out of his opponents range and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Moncayo lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Moncayo sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Mandujano lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Mandujano steps to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.
