Boxing Daily Report from the Honduras National Finals 2031,  taking place on 26/03/2031 from Tegucigalpa, Honduras:

The Tegucigalpa venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Manuel Tobar (1 - 0) who hails from San Pedro Sula, Honduras and Marjun Leandro(20 - 10) from Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

Leandro gets on the inside and manouvers Tobar into the corner.  Leandro lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

Leandro steps inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Leandro advances into close range.  Leandro sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a left hook.

Leandro backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Tobar tries to tag Leandro on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Leandro throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Leandro ties up his opponent.  Leandro leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Leandro pushes his forearm into Tobar's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Tobar is on target with a left hook.  
Tobar connects with a solid cross.  
Tobar attempts to land an overhand left, but Leandro dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Leandro is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut.  
Tobar pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Tobar tries to keep the action at long range.  Leandro hits home with an overhand left.  
Tobar steps away from his opponent.  Leandro drives a sharp jab into his opponents face.
