Jay Mordecai vs Max Firth

Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2031,  taking place on 26/03/2031 from Kingston, Jamaica:

The Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jay Mordecai (6(1) - 10) who hails from Spanish Town, Jamaica and Max Firth(38(1) - 16) from New Kingston, Jamaica.

Firth closes the distance.  Mordecai drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Firth clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Firth pushes his forearm into Mordecai's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Firth.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Firth's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
