Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2031,  taking place on 26/03/2031 from Kingston, Jamaica:

The Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chris Hendren (66 - 27) who hails from New Kingston, Jamaica and Jamie Pottinger(5 - 13) from Spanish Town, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Hendren advances into close range.  Hendren pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Pottinger quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pottinger attempts to land a cross, but Hendren parries the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Hendren gets on the inside.  Hendren pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Pottinger goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Hendren time to recover.

Pottinger steps away from his opponent.  Pottinger contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Hendren attempts to land a jab, but Pottinger sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.

Hendren walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Hendren lands a left uppercut.
