Leon Hovel vs Ollie Walkinshaw

Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2031,  taking place on 29/03/2031 from Kingston, Jamaica:

The Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Leon Hovel (14 - 15) who hails from New Kingston, Jamaica and Ollie Walkinshaw(10 - 7) from Spanish Town, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Hovel throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Hovel pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Walkinshaw feints a right hook, and then throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hovel tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hovel walks Walkinshaw onto the ropes.  Hovel sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Walkinshaw lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.

Walkinshaw steps to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Hovel is looking to close the distance and forces Walkinshaw to retreat onto the ropes.  Walkinshaw is on target with a firm left hook.  Walkinshaw ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Hovel pushes his forearm into Walkinshaw's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
