Akil Anand vs Shankar Kunjir

Boxing Daily Report from the Iran National Finals 2031,  taking place on 01/04/2031 from Karaj, Iran:

The Karaj venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Akil Anand (11 - 3) who hails from Shiraz, Iran and Shankar Kunjir(4 - 2) from Tehran, Iran.

Anand gets on the inside and walks Kunjir down, trapping him on the ropes.  Anand sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Anand lands a left hook.  Anand throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kunjir drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  
Kunjir quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Anand lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.  
Kunjir attempts to land a jab, but Anand dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kunjir stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Anand drives a firm cross into Kunjir's body.  Anand throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Kunjir lands a left hook.  Kunjir attempts to land a right hook, but Anand sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Anand is on target with a left hook.  Kunjir clinches his opponent.  Kunjir pushes his forearm into Anand's face.  The referee warns Kunjir and breaks the clinch.
