Cody Hewitt vs Matt Biggs

Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2031,  taking place on 01/04/2031 from Kingston, Jamaica:

The Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Cody Hewitt (12 - 4) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Matt Biggs(31 - 5) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Biggs closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Biggs sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Hewitt lands a solid left hook.

Biggs advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hewitt is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Hewitt quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Biggs is on target with a cross.  
Hewitt lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  Hewitt tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hewitt tries to keep the action at long range and strikes his opponents body with a sharp cross.  Hewitt tries to land an overhand right, but Biggs sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Biggs advances into close range.  Hewitt sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Biggs lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.
