Mark Moncrief vs Dave Gilliland

Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2031,  taking place on 01/04/2031 from Kingston, Jamaica:

The Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mark Moncrief (24 - 24) who hails from New Kingston, Jamaica and Dave Gilliland(11 - 26) from New Kingston, Jamaica.

Gilliland cuts off the ring, trapping Moncrief on the ropes.  Gilliland sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Moncrief attempts to land a right hook, but Gilliland sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.

Moncrief feints a cross, and then tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.
