Boxing Daily Report from the Japan National Finals 2031,  taking place on 01/04/2031 from Kure, Japan:

The Kure venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kaede Kawamoto (21(2) - 16) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Hideki Miyoshi(9 - 5) from Chofu, Japan.

Miyoshi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Kawamoto is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.  
Miyoshi gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  Kawamoto clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Miyoshi pushes his forearm into Kawamoto's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Miyoshi to stop fouling.  
Miyoshi walks Kawamoto down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kawamoto lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Miyoshi closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Kawamoto clinches his opponent.  Miyoshi is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
