Gus Flanagan vs Matthew Rintoul

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/04/2031 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gus Flanagan (15(1) - 17) who hails from Chicago, USA and Matthew Rintoul(14 - 12) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Flanagan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.

Flanagan is looking to keep his distance.  Flanagan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Flanagan connects with a solid cross.  Flanagan throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Rintoul digs in a sharp left hook to Flanagan's body.  
Rintoul manages to force Flanagan onto the ropes.  Rintoul sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Flanagan lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Rintoul manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Rintoul pivots to the right of his opponent, but Flanagan finds the target with a jab.

Rintoul sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Rintoul pivots to the side of his opponent, but Flanagan drives a left hook into Rintoul's body.  
Rintoul lands a sharp jab.  
Rintoul is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Rintoul lands with a ramrod jab.  
Rintoul throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Flanagan digs in a left hook to Rintoul's ribs.
