Borg Hovda vs Leif Grendahl

Boxing Daily Report from the Norway National Finals 2031,  taking place on 14/04/2031 from Oslo, Norway:

The Oslo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Borg Hovda (10 - 3) who hails from Oslo, Norway and Leif Grendahl(11 - 9) from Oslo, Norway.  

Round 1: 

Hovda steps to the outside and lands with a stiff jab.

Grendahl steps inside and manouvers Hovda onto the ropes.  Grendahl digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.

Hovda is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Hovda feints a cross, and then hits the target with a sharp jab.  Hovda tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Grendahl gets on the inside and hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Grendahl advances into close range and walks his opponent into the red corner.  Hovda drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Hovda switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Grendahl gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
