Carlos Canal vs Sancho Laurel

Boxing Daily Report from the Panama National Finals 2031,  taking place on 14/04/2031 from Panama City, Panama:

The Panama City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Carlos Canal (25 - 7) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Sancho Laurel(18 - 14(1)) from Panama City, Panama.  

Round 1: 

Laurel feints a jab, but Canal ignores the feint and lands with a cross.

Canal quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Laurel hits home with a cross.

Canal attempts to land a right hook, but Laurel blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Canal throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Laurel lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Canal sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Canal steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.
