Boxing Daily Report from the Peru National Finals 2031,  taking place on 14/04/2031 from Lima, Peru:

The Lima venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Manny Fabela (4 - 6) who hails from Lima, Peru and Rio Licona(14 - 30) from Arequipa, Peru.

Fabela hits home with a cross.  
Licona walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Licona tries to land a right hook, but Fabela parries the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut to Licona's ribs.  
Fabela steps away from his opponent and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Fabela tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with an overhand right.  
Licona lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Fabela drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Licona lands with a spiteful jab.

Licona gets on the inside.  Fabela lands a stinging right hook.  
Licona throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Licona clinches his opponent.  Licona is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Licona about fouling.  
Fabela lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Fabela steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Licona lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Licona connects with a sharp right hook.  
Licona connects with a firm right uppercut.  Licona attempts to land a right hook, but Fabela blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Fabela tries to keep the action at long range and finds the target with a jab.  
Licona drives a stinging left hook into Fabela's ribs.  Licona clinches his opponent.  Fabela pushes his forearm into Licona's face.  The referee warns Fabela and breaks the clinch.
