Boxing Daily Report from the Russia National Finals 2031,  taking place on 26/04/2031 from Saint Petersburg, Russia:

The Saint Petersburg venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dmitri Zentsov (9 - 13(2)) who hails from Moscow, Russia and Koldan Golubev(15 - 14) from Barnaul, Russia.  

Round 1: 

Golubev walks Zentsov onto the ropes.  Golubev lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Golubev gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to Zentsov's body.  
Zentsov is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Golubev is looking to close the distance.  Zentsov hits home with a right hook.  
Golubev manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  Golubev is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Golubev closes the distance and digs in a right hook to Zentsov's ribcage.  
Zentsov steps to the outside and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Golubev pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Zentsov is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a spiteful jab.

Golubev is looking to close the distance and manages to force Zentsov into the corner.  Golubev lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.
