The Geneva venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Arnaud Birner (28(4) - 22) who hails from Zurich, Switzerland and Siegfried Strubel(7 - 20) from Zurich, Switzerland.

Strubel lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Strubel sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Birner is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Birner gets on the inside.  Strubel connects with a right hook.  
Birner lands a right hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Strubel hits home with a left hook.  
Birner is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Strubel is on target with a stinging left hook.

Birner knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Birner lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body, KNOCKING STRUBEL DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Strubel has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Birner drives a stinging left uppercut into Strubel's liver.

Birner gets on the inside and is on target with a solid left hook to Strubel's body.

Strubel closes the distance and walks Birner down, trapping him on the ropes.  Birner digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Birner steps inside and lands a firm left uppercut.  Birner holds on to his opponent.  Birner uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Strubel behind the head. As they grapple, Strubel pushes his forearm into Birner's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Birner sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left hook to Strubel's body.  
Birner lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Birner is looking to close the distance.  Strubel attempts to land a left hook, but Birner slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Birner lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Birner hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Strubel is looking to close the distance and hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Strubel digs in a solid left uppercut to Birner's ribs.  
Strubel gets on the inside.  Birner hits home with a right hook.  
Birner advances into close range and is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE STRUBEL WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Birner thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Strubel away.  Birner lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Birner lands a left uppercut followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND STRUBEL IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Birner!
