Malik Zogby vs Sajid Qubaisi

Boxing Daily Report from the Yemen National Finals 2031,  taking place on 26/04/2031 from Sana'a, Yemen:

The Sana'a venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Malik Zogby (14 - 18) who hails from Al Hudaydah, Yemen and Sajid Qubaisi(2 - 1) from Al Hudaydah, Yemen.  

Round 1: 

Qubaisi is on target with a left hook.  Qubaisi attempts to land a right hook, but Zogby blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Zogby lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Zogby connects with a left hook.  
Qubaisi manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Zogby is on target with a cross.  
Qubaisi throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Zogby time to recover.  
Qubaisi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Qubaisi tries to land a jab, but Zogby slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Zogby advances into close range and lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Zogby cuts off the ring, trapping Qubaisi on the ropes.  Zogby is on target with a right hook.  Zogby throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Qubaisi feints a jab, fooling Zogby into launching a right hook counter.  Qubaisi avoids the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Zogby's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Zogby feints a cross, and then lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Zogby feints a jab, but Qubaisi ignores the feint and is on target with a left hook.  
Qubaisi walks Zogby down, trapping him on the ropes.  Qubaisi lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Qubaisi attempts to land a right hook, but Zogby sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Zogby is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Zogby steps to the outside and lands a cross.  
Qubaisi is looking to close the distance.  Zogby lands a left hook.
