Boxing Daily Report from the Uganda National Finals 2031,  taking place on 29/04/2031 from Kampala, Uganda:

The Kampala venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Justin Rukidi (24 - 15) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Kyan Tayali(28 - 22) from Kampala, Uganda.  

Round 1: 

Tayali gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.

Rukidi switches the action to the outside.  Rukidi sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Tayali lands a jab to his opponents body.

Rukidi is looking to keep his distance.  Rukidi feints a cross, but Tayali is not fooled and lands with a cross.  
Tayali lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Tayali hits home with a right hook.  Tayali attempts to land a left hook, but Rukidi dodges the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Tayali lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Rukidi's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!  Tayali's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win.
