Dave Sanders vs Bart Elder

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/08/2031 from Perth, Australia:

The Perth venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Sanders (139(1) - 8) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Bart Elder(3 - 7) from Perth, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Elder tries to land a jab, but Sanders blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Sanders lands with a stinging jab.  
Sanders is looking to keep his distance.  Sanders stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Elder attempts to land a jab, but Sanders dodges the shot and counters with a solid left hook to Elder's body.

As they grapple, Elder pushes his forearm into Sanders's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Elder.  
Sanders tries to keep the action at long range.  Sanders is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Elder throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Sanders lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Elder pivots to the left of his opponent, but Sanders lands a left hook.  
Sanders tries to keep the action at long range and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Sanders tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a sharp overhand right.  
Sanders lands a jab.  
Sanders steps away from his opponent and lands two jab's to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Sanders's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Sanders is looking to close the distance and lands a firm right hook.  
Sanders manouvers Elder onto the ropes.  Elder lands a left hook.  Sanders holds on to his opponent.  Sanders leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sanders sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Elder drives a left hook into Sanders's body.  
Sanders is looking to close the distance.  Elder is on target with a left uppercut.  
Sanders is looking to close the distance.  Elder throws a left hook, but Sanders holds on to his opponent.  Elder uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Sanders behind the head. Sanders leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Sanders's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Elder digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Sanders clinches his opponent.  Elder uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Sanders's kidney. The referee warns Elder and breaks the clinch.

Sanders cuts off the ring, trapping Elder on the ropes.  Sanders lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Elder recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Elder digs in a solid left hook to Sanders's liver.  
Sanders pivots to the right of his opponent.  Sanders throws a left hook, but is unable to find the target.  Sanders holds on to his opponent.  Sanders uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Elder's kidney.
