Dave Sanders vs Aaron Mains

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/08/2031 from Sydney, Australia:

The Sydney venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Sanders (140(1) - 8) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Aaron Mains(0 - 4) from Sydney, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Mains hits home with a left uppercut.  
Sanders lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Sanders tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab to the body, a jab to the head and a cross to the head.  
Sanders lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Sanders feints a right hook, and then lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Sanders steps away from his opponent.  Sanders feints a left hook, and then lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Mains advances into close range and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Mains lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Sanders lands a firm right hook.  
Sanders is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Sanders finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Mains closes the distance.  Sanders lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Mains quickly recovers.

Mains manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Mains pivots to the left of his opponent, but Sanders hits home with a hard jab.  
Sanders tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  
Sanders feints a cross, and then is on target with a jab.  
Sanders lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Mains closes the distance and throws a right hook, but Sanders ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Mains pushes his forearm into Sanders's face.  The referee warns Mains and breaks the clinch.  
Sanders lands a cross.

Mains is looking to close the distance and manouvers Sanders onto the ropes.  Sanders throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Sanders holds on to his opponent.  Mains leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mains gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but Sanders clinches his opponent.  Mains tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Sanders behind the head. The referee warns Mains and breaks the clinch.  
Sanders lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Mains manouvers Sanders onto the ropes.  Sanders lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
