Jouko Esko vs Mika Rasanen

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 03/10/2031 from Turku, Finland:

The Turku venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jouko Esko (13 - 21) who hails from Vantaa, Finland and Mika Rasanen(13 - 18) from Turku, Finland.  

Round 1: 

Rasanen is looking to close the distance and is on target with a solid right hook to Esko's ribcage.  
Esko hits home with a right uppercut.  
Rasanen forces Esko to retreat onto the ropes.  Rasanen pivots to the right of his opponent, but Esko lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Rasanen steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Esko steps inside.  Rasanen digs in a right hook to Esko's body.  
Esko switches the action to the outside.  Rasanen hits home with a cross.  
Rasanen lands a jab.  
Esko steps to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Rasanen lands a hard jab.  
Rasanen walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Rasanen finds the target with a solid jab.

Rasanen steps to the outside.  Esko tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Esko advances into close range.  Esko quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Rasanen connects with a stinging left hook.  
Esko steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Esko is looking to keep his distance.  Rasanen lands a cross.  
Rasanen lands a left hook, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Rasanen digs in a left hook to Esko's body.  
Rasanen attempts to land an overhand right, but Esko sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Esko finds the target with a jab.  
Esko is on target with a jab.  
Esko gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Rasanen closes the distance.  Rasanen pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a sharp left hook.  
Esko advances into close range.  Rasanen drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Rasanen tries to keep the action at long range.  Rasanen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Esko's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!  Rasanen's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Rasanen hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Esko lands a jab.  
Esko is on target with an overhand left.  
Esko strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Rasanen connects with a cross.  
Rasanen lands a stiff jab.  
Rasanen is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land a jab, but Esko parries the shot and counters with a solid cross.
