Kazuhiko Shirai vs Akira Miyamoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/11/2031 from Sapporo, Japan:

The Sapporo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kazuhiko Shirai (5 - 2) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Akira Miyamoto(10(1) - 6) from Sapporo, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Shirai lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Miyamoto gets on the inside and drives a firm left hook into Shirai's body.  
Shirai tries to step out of his opponents range.  Miyamoto tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Shirai advances into close range.  Shirai quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Miyamoto throws a left uppercut, but Shirai holds on to his opponent.  Miyamoto leans on his opponent using all his weight. Shirai is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Miyamoto closes the distance and throws a right hook, but Shirai ties up his opponent.  Miyamoto leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
