Max Hawthorne vs Robert George

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/01/2032 from Georgetown, Guyana:

The Georgetown venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Max Hawthorne (5 - 4) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Robert George(1 - 12) from Georgetown, Guyana.  

Round 1: 

George is looking to keep his distance.  Hawthorne lands a cross followed by  two overhand lefts to his opponents head.

Hawthorne connects with a cross.  Hawthorne tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Hawthorne tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

George closes the distance.  Hawthorne hits home with a right uppercut.  
Hawthorne is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Hawthorne quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hawthorne finds the target with a jab.  Hawthorne tries to land a jab, but George sidesteps and counters with a cross.
