Noe Velez vs Sancho Marro

Boxing Daily Report from the Ecuador National Finals 2032,  taking place on 11/03/2032 from Cuenco, Ecuador:

The Cuenco venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Noe Velez (7 - 4) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Sancho Marro(21 - 5) from Quito, Ecuador.  

Round 1: 

Velez lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Marro gets on the inside.  Velez attempts to land a left hook, but Marro slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Velez attempts to land a cross, but Marro slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Velez steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Marro parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Marro lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Marro holds on to his opponent.  Velez pushes his forearm into Marro's face.  The ref breaks Marro's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
