Bart Crummie vs Bryan Dougal

Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2032,  taking place on 26/03/2032 from Kingston, Jamaica:

The Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bart Crummie (18 - 16) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Bryan Dougal(29(17) - 9) from Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Crummie lands with a solid jab.  
Crummie lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Dougal lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Dougal steps inside.  Dougal pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Crummie recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Crummie tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.  
Dougal steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Crummie throws a right hook, but Dougal ties up his opponent.  Dougal is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Dougal quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Dougal sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Dougal lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  Dougal throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Crummie is looking to keep his distance and lands a sharp jab.  
Dougal gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Dougal walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Dougal lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Dougal throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Crummie switches the action to the outside.  Dougal is on target with a solid overhand right.  
Crummie attempts to land a jab, but Dougal sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Dougal advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Dougal is looking to close the distance and digs in a firm left hook to Crummie's body.  
Dougal walks Crummie down, trapping him on the ropes.  Dougal whips in a big left hook to his opponents body.  CRUMMIE IS HURT!  
Dougal knows Crummie is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Dougal lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND CRUMMIE IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Dougal lands a right uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body, KNOCKING CRUMMIE DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  It looks like Crummie has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Dougal throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Dougal gets on the inside and walks Crummie down, trapping him in the corner.  Crummie throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Dougal time to recover.  
Dougal throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Dougal ties up his opponent.  Dougal is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Dougal.  
Dougal quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Crummie throws a left hook, but Dougal clinches his opponent.  Dougal leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Dougal walks Crummie onto the ropes.  Dougal throws a left uppercut, but is not on target.  Dougal ties up his opponent.  Dougal pushes his forearm into Crummie's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Dougal.  
Dougal lands a right hook.  
Dougal sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Crummie throws a right hook, but Dougal clinches his opponent.  Dougal leans on his opponent using all his weight. Dougal is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Dougal and breaks the clinch.  
Dougal is on target with a sharp overhand right.  
Crummie tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land a jab, but Dougal slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Dougal lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Crummie sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Crummie attempts to land a jab, but Dougal sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.
