Boxing Daily Report from the Guyana National Finals 2032,  taking place on 01/04/2032 from Georgetown, Guyana:

The Georgetown venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bruce Ashley (15 - 42(2)) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Richard Prior(15(1) - 3) from Georgetown, Guyana.  

Round 1: 

Prior closes the distance.  Prior pivots to the right of his opponent, but Ashley digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.

Prior walks Ashley down, trapping him on the ropes.  Prior hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  
Prior connects with a firm right hook.  
Prior drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Prior lands a left uppercut to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Prior advances into close range and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Ashley is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Prior lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Prior sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Ashley lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Prior steps inside and forces Ashley to retreat onto the ropes.  Prior lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ashley hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Prior drives a solid right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Prior lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Prior attempts to land a left uppercut, but Ashley blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Prior's ribs.  
Prior advances into close range and walks his opponent into a corner.  Prior lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS ASHLEY TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Ashley almost instantly recovers. 
Prior digs in a sharp right hook to Ashley's ribs.  
Ashley throws a left hook, but Prior clinches his opponent.  Ashley is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Prior pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a right uppercut to Ashley's body.  
Prior forces Ashley to back into a corner.  Prior throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Prior ties up his opponent.  Prior leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Ashley is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Prior's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Prior connects with a right hook.  
Ashley trudges back to his corner looking very tired.  At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Ashley's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Prior throws a left hook, but is not on target.  Prior holds on to his opponent.  Prior tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Ashley behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Prior to stop fouling.  
Prior throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Prior ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Prior pushes his forearm into Ashley's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ashley throws a left hook, but Prior holds on to his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ashley tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Prior is on target with a sharp left hook to Ashley's liver.  Prior clinches his opponent.  Prior leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Prior closes the distance and lands a mean right hook.  ASHLEY IS DOWN!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Prior!
