Boxing Daily Report from the Guyana National Finals 2032,  taking place on 01/04/2032 from Georgetown, Guyana:

The Georgetown venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kian Patterson (28 - 5) who hails from Linden, Guyana and Michael Handley(15 - 16(1)) from Georgetown, Guyana.  

Round 1: 

Patterson hits home with a cross.

Handley walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Handley sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Patterson attempts to land a right uppercut, but Handley blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Handley steps to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Patterson dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Patterson steps inside.  Handley hits home with a right uppercut.  
Patterson lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Patterson gets on the inside.  Patterson throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Handley's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Patterson steps away from his opponent and lands a jab to the body, a jab to the head and an overhand right to the head.  
Patterson switches the action to the outside and drives a jab into his opponents body.  Patterson throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook.

Patterson gets on the inside.  Patterson pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.

Patterson digs in a stinging right uppercut to Handley's body.  
Handley connects with a right uppercut.  
Handley throws a left hook, but Patterson clinches his opponent.  Patterson pushes his forearm into Handley's face.  The referee warns Patterson and breaks the clinch.
