Boxing Daily Report from the Peru National Finals 2032,  taking place on 11/04/2032 from Trujillo, Peru:

The Trujillo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Loredo Banuelos (3 - 4) who hails from Lima, Peru and Santiago Alfaro(1 - 2) from Chiclayo, Peru.  

Round 1: 

Alfaro is looking to close the distance.  Banuelos hits home with a right hook.

Banuelos connects with a cross.  
Banuelos finds the target with a jab.  
Alfaro steps inside and walks Banuelos down, trapping him in the corner.  Alfaro hits home with a right hook.  
Banuelos steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a cross, but Alfaro dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Alfaro lands a solid overhand left.  
Banuelos sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Banuelos pivots to the side of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Banuelos leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Alfaro accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Banuelos.  Alfaro drives a right hook into Banuelos's body.
