Nicolas Piaget vs Ringling Heigel

Boxing Daily Report from the Switzerland National Finals 2032,  taking place on 26/04/2032 from Zurich, Switzerland:

The Zurich venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Nicolas Piaget (8 - 5) who hails from Lausanne, Switzerland and Ringling Heigel(24 - 10) from Bern, Switzerland.  

Round 1: 

Piaget is on target with a right hook to Heigel's body.

Heigel walks Piaget onto the ropes.  Heigel digs in a left uppercut to Piaget's body.  
Heigel is looking to keep his distance.  Piaget lands a hard jab.  
Piaget attempts to land a cross, but Heigel slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Heigel lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Piaget steps to the outside and lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.

Heigel closes the distance.  Piaget throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Piaget tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a solid overhand right.  
Piaget lands a stinging jab.  
Piaget is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Heigel closes the distance.  Heigel pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Heigel is looking to keep his distance.  Piaget lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Piaget attempts to land a jab, but Heigel dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

Piaget is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with an overhand left.
