Faisal Shaheen vs Louis Mkapa

Boxing Daily Report from the Uganda National Finals 2032,  taking place on 26/04/2032 from Kampala, Uganda:

The Kampala venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Faisal Shaheen (11 - 15) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Louis Mkapa(2 - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  

Round 1: 

Mkapa sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Shaheen tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Shaheen advances into close range and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Mkapa lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mkapa pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to Shaheen's body.  
Shaheen drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Shaheen throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Shaheen advances into close range.  Shaheen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a firm left hook into Mkapa's body.

Mkapa feints a left, and then attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Shaheen's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Shaheen steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Shaheen attempts to land a cross, but Mkapa slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Shaheen connects with a left hook.  
Shaheen walks Mkapa down, trapping him on the ropes.  Shaheen sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Mkapa is on target with a cross.  
Shaheen closes the distance and is on target with a right hook to Mkapa's ribcage.  
Shaheen closes the distance.  Mkapa lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Shaheen advances into close range and lands a left hook.  
Mkapa steps to the outside.  Mkapa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
