Max Hawthorne vs Will Stalker

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 02/05/2032 from Georgetown, Guyana:

The Georgetown venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Max Hawthorne (7 - 7) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Will Stalker(4 - 16) from Georgetown, Guyana.  

Round 1: 

Hawthorne feints a cross, and then lands with a stinging jab.  
Hawthorne lands a spiteful jab.  
Stalker closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Stalker is on target with a right hook to Hawthorne's body.  
Hawthorne is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.

Hawthorne steps to the outside.  Hawthorne quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Stalker lands a jab.  
Stalker is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Stalker manages to force Hawthorne into the corner.  Stalker lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Stalker drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  
Stalker lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Stalker lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Stalker lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hawthorne connects with a right hook.

Stalker steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  Stalker ties up his opponent.  Stalker pushes his forearm into Hawthorne's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Stalker.  Stalker throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Hawthorne steps away from his opponent.  Hawthorne sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Stalker connects with a cross.  
Stalker is looking to close the distance.  Hawthorne is on target with a solid right hook.  
Stalker is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Hawthorne hits home with a left hook.  
Stalker walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Stalker connects with a right hook.  
Stalker closes the distance and digs in a solid left hook to Hawthorne's liver.  
Stalker cuts off the ring, trapping Hawthorne on the ropes.  Hawthorne throws a left hook, but Stalker clinches his opponent.  Stalker pushes his forearm into Hawthorne's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Stalker about fouling.
