Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/10/2032 from Calgary, Canada:

The Calgary venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Ormiston (13 - 23) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Bruce Murray(5 - 14) from Calgary, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Ormiston tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Murray lands a left hook.  
Murray hits home with a cross.  
Ormiston is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Ormiston forces Murray to retreat onto the ropes.  Ormiston drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
Ormiston throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.

Ormiston advances into close range and throws a right uppercut, but Murray ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Ormiston pushes his forearm into Murray's face.  The ref breaks Murray's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Murray hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Ormiston steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ormiston lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Murray gets on the inside.  Ormiston hits home with a left hook.  Murray holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Murray pushes his forearm into Ormiston's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ormiston digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ormiston closes the distance.  Ormiston sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Murray attempts to land a left hook, but Ormiston sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Murray connects with a right hook.  Murray clinches his opponent.  Ormiston leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Ormiston steps inside and forces Murray to back into the corner.  Ormiston digs in a solid right hook to Murray's body.  
Ormiston attempts to land a left hook, but Murray slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Ormiston is on target with a stinging left hook to Murray's liver.  
Ormiston pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Murray's body.  
Murray pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a solid left uppercut into Ormiston's ribs.  
Ormiston lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Murray steps inside and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.
