Soini Aromaa vs Jyri Itkonen

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 05/01/2033 from Turku, Finland:

The Turku venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Soini Aromaa (1 - 11) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Jyri Itkonen(4 - 7) from Turku, Finland.  

Round 1: 

Itkonen is looking to close the distance.  Itkonen pivots from in front of his opponent, but Aromaa digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Itkonen walks Aromaa into a corner.  Aromaa lands a left hook.  
Aromaa steps to the outside.  Aromaa feints a jab, but Itkonen ignores the feint and is on target with a left hook to Aromaa's body.  
Itkonen lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Aromaa is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a cross.  
Itkonen closes the distance.  Itkonen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Aromaa's body.  
Aromaa tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Itkonen dodges the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Itkonen steps inside.  Itkonen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.

Itkonen connects with a left hook.  
Aromaa is on target with a left hook.  
Aromaa lands a sharp right hook.  
Itkonen advances into close range.  Itkonen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Aromaa closes the distance and lands a left hook.  
Aromaa lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Itkonen is on target with a right uppercut to Aromaa's ribs.  
Aromaa lands a cross.  
Aromaa gets on the inside.  Aromaa sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Itkonen lands a stinging right hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Itkonen's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Aromaa throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Itkonen manages to force Aromaa into the blue corner.  Itkonen connects with a sharp cross.  
Aromaa lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.
