Boxing Daily Report from the Belgium National Finals 2033,  taking place on 14/03/2033 from Brussels, Belgium:

The Brussels venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Docus Zoete (12 - 14) who hails from Ghent, Belgium and Lieken Malazyes(33 - 12) from Antwerp, Belgium.  

Round 1: 

Malazyes walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Zoete finds the target with a jab.

Malazyes advances into close range and manages to force Zoete onto the ropes.  Malazyes digs in a right hook to Zoete's ribs.  
Malazyes is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Zoete is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Zoete throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Zoete sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a solid jab.  
Zoete steps away from his opponent and lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.

Zoete is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a sharp cross.  
Malazyes closes the distance and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Malazyes is looking to close the distance and walks Zoete down, trapping him on the ropes.  Malazyes pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Zoete's ribs.  
Zoete is on target with a sharp cross.  
Malazyes lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Malazyes advances into close range and walks Zoete onto the ropes.  Malazyes quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Malazyes steps to the outside.  Zoete connects with a firm overhand left.

Zoete tries to keep the action at long range.  Zoete quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Zoete lands a solid left hook.  
Malazyes advances into close range.  Malazyes pivots from in front of his opponent.  Zoete tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Malazyes steps inside and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Malazyes quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Zoete lands a stiff jab.  
Malazyes closes the distance.  Zoete connects with a solid right hook.  
Malazyes closes the distance.  Malazyes leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Zoete is whaling away with hooks, but Malazyes keeps his defence tight.
