Shinji Kanda vs Hitoshi Mori

Boxing Daily Report from the Japan National Finals 2033,  taking place on 26/03/2033 from Higashiosaka, Japan:

The Higashiosaka venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Shinji Kanda (8 - 12) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Hitoshi Mori(22(3) - 13) from Tokyo, Japan.  

Round 1:

Mori manouvers Kanda onto the ropes.  Mori digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mori lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Mori closes the distance and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mori advances into close range and attempts to land a left hook, but Kanda blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mori is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kanda steps to the outside.  Mori is on target with a cross.

Mori digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  Mori tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Mori is on target with a right hook.  Mori clinches his opponent.  Kanda pushes his forearm into Mori's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kanda steps away from his opponent and lands with a sharp jab.  
Mori is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Mori ties up his opponent.  Mori is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mori.  
Mori drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Mori cuts off the ring, trapping Kanda in the corner.  Mori lands a left hook.

Mori quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Kanda recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mori lands a sharp right hook.

Mori slams a spiteful left hook into Kanda's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE KANDA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Mori senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Kanda and just needs the right shot.  Mori lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND DROPS KANDA TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  Kanda now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Mori lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Mori clinches his opponent.  Mori leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kanda throws a left hook, but Mori clinches his opponent.  Mori is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mori lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mori lands two left hook's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Mori forces Kanda to back into a corner.  Mori lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Mori gets on the inside.  Mori knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Mori slams a nasty left uppercut into his opponents body.  KANDA IS DOWN!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Mori!
