Boxing Daily Report from the Guatemala National Finals 2033,  taking place on 01/04/2033 from Guatemala City, Guatemala:

The Guatemala City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alejandro Ruiz (44(14) - 8) who hails from Villa Nueva, Guatemala and Senon Valdovinos(13 - 6) from Villa Nueva, Guatemala.  

Round 1: 

Valdovinos lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Ruiz lands a sharp right hook.

Ruiz steps inside.  Valdovinos throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Valdovinos strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Ruiz steps inside and is on target with a stinging right hook to Valdovinos's body.  
Ruiz drives a weighty left uppercut into Valdovinos's body.  VALDOVINOS IS HURT!  Valdovinos quickly recovers. 
Ruiz lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Valdovinos pivots to the side of his opponent, but Ruiz hits home with a cross.  
Ruiz gets on the inside and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  
Ruiz lands a sharp cross.  
Valdovinos tries to keep the action at long range.  Ruiz lands with a stinging jab.  
Ruiz advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ruiz lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ruiz cuts off the ring, trapping Valdovinos on the ropes.  Ruiz lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ruiz advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Ruiz connects with a sharp left hook.  
Ruiz pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Ruiz lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Ruiz is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Ruiz lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He then lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body, AND VALDOVINOS IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Valdovinos now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Ruiz connects with a powerful right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE VALDOVINOS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Ruiz ties up his opponent.  Valdovinos pushes his forearm into Ruiz's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Valdovinos about fouling.  Valdovinos almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Ruiz drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Ruiz holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ruiz lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Ruiz lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Ruiz drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Ruiz quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Ruiz is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ruiz clinches his opponent.  Valdovinos uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Ruiz's kidney. Valdovinos almost instantly recovers.

Ruiz quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Ruiz advances into close range.  Ruiz senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Valdovinos and just needs the right shot.  Ruiz lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, DROPPING VALDOVINOS TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  
Ruiz SLAMS a CRUSHING left hook into his opponents face.  VALDOVINOS HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE REMAINS ON THE CANVAS AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Ruiz!
